The announcement was made a few days ago by SL Capitais in the context of an event promoted under the slogan "Enhancing the Capital Market in Mozambique. The president of the Mozambican Stock Exchange, Salim Valá, praised the importance of the entry of that capital sales management company in the domestic market.
According to a press release, SL Capitais SA will participate in the primary securities market and has as its primary objective the exercise of intermediation activity in the BVM.
The new operator will also be involved in receiving investors' orders for securities transactions and their execution, as well as providing services related to organizing, registering or obtaining authorization, and launching and executing public trading offers.
The President of SL Capitais, Leonel Tomo, said that the company emerges to boost the operations of that branch of activity.
SL Capitais SA is a brokerage house owned by Mozambican shareholders. SL Capitais, SA was created in response to the challenges of the capital market in Mozambique, namely, the low level of liquidity and the reduced number of companies listed on the stock exchange.
In his speech, the President of the Executive Council (CEO) of SL Captais, SA, Leonel Tomo, referred that his institution appears in the economic circuit as an agglutinating element, for the growth and integration of more companies in the Mozambican Stock Exchange.
