Maputo City is today hosting the Final Closing Conference of the +Employment for Young People in Cabo Delgado project.

According to Rádio Moçambique, the project is funded by the European Union, co-financed and managed by Camões, Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua I.P, with a total budget of 4.2 million euros.

Over the four years of the project's implementation, it has focused on four pillars, namely: the qualification of young people in Cabo Delgado in strategic areas for their employability; the technical training of trainers; support for measures to promote youth employment and self-employment, including the training of the public employment system; and the strengthening of the business fabric of Cabo Delgado's SMEs, by certifying their quality and encouraging public-private partnerships.
