The fifty-eighth Annual Meeting of the Association of Electricity Companies of Africa (APUA) is being held in Maputo from today until Thursday.

The aim of the event is to promote the development and integration of the African energy sector through the interconnection of energy networks, the exchange of experiences and the joint exploitation of energy resources based on a win-win approach for all members and financial partners.

The meeting will take stock of the activities carried out over the last year, as well as discuss the state of scientific activities, projects and reforms implemented and planned in the energy sector.
