Renamo's front-runner and candidate for governor of Zambézia province, Manuel de Araújo, promises to modernize Quelimane's central market and improve the working conditions of informal vendors if he wins the October 9 elections.
On another day of canvassing for votes, Manuel de Araújo went to Quelimane's central market to ask for votes for his party.
He also promised to improve sanitation and build a crèche inside the market so that mothers can leave their children while they work.
Araújo also said that if his party wins the elections, it will stop the rural exodus by developing other districts, so that young people have jobs in their villages. (Source: Notícias)
