Kylian Mbappé renova contrato com o PSG. La Liga quer denunciar o clube à UEFA e UE

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) confirmed this Saturday the contract renewal with the French international Kylian Mbappé, putting an end to a long novel that has dragged on for several months, writes the News to the Minute.

It was on the lawn of the Parc des Princes, where PSG beat Metz 5-1 in Ligue 1 on Saturday, that Parisian club owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi announced the renewal of Mbappé's contract until 2025.

After the words of the PSG manager, always on the player's side, Mbappé stated that his priority has always been to remain in the French capital.

The contract values have not been made official, but the international press guarantees that Mbappé will receive 50 million euros clean per season, plus a signing bonus.

This renewal of Mbappé puts an end to what was Real Madrid's attempt to take the French international to Spain. The Merengues even had a pre-agreement to sign the forward, but the youngster, who warned the Spaniards of his decision, preferred to stay in Paris.

Before the officialization of the agreement between the player and PSG, the Spanish league "La Liga" promised to denounce the Parisian club to UEFA and the competent bodies of the European Union, according to the same source.

The position of 'La Liga' comes in defense of "the economic ecosystem of European soccer," wrote the portal. In the Spanish perspective, the agreement "attacks the economic sustainability of European soccer, endangering, in the medium term, hundreds of thousands of jobs, as well as the sporting integrity, not only of European competitions but also of domestic leagues.

According to the body led by Javier Tebas, it is "scandalous that a club like 'PSG', which last season lost more than 220 million euros and accumulated losses of 700 million" over the seasons, can "cope with an agreement of these characteristics.
