Artificial Intelligence (AI) is evolving all the time and is equipped with functionalities that until recently would perhaps have been unimaginable.
The fact is that, while it has been possible to predict births for some time, even without the use of AI, AI now makes it possible to predict dates of death and the risk of death due to disease.
The 74%'s precision ability to determine dates of death analyzes data in a specific formula to obtain the results. The information was provided in a study published in the scientific journal Nature Computational Scienceaccording to CanalTech.
The chatbot, called life2vec, uses the factors that can lead to a shorter life (such as a mental health diagnosis) or a longer life (higher income) to predict events.
In all, data from six million Danes was analyzed in this initial study. The chatbot was trained on data ranging from 2008 to 2016, but which is not available to the general public or to companies in order to comply with laws focused on data protection.
In addition to the date of death, as this article proposes, several studies have already used artificial intelligence to predict certain events in people's lives, such as the risk of a heart attack or the risk of dying from lung cancer.
