Nine students who excelled in digital transformation training were awarded today in Maputo city, by Huawei, for the best results achieved during the training.
The training was attended by 55 young people from various regions of the country, who were graduated after gaining skills in the areas of Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Commerce, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT); and virtual interaction with cultures from Armenia, Azerbaijan, China and Albania.
This is the fourth graduation promoted by the multinational Huawei Technologies Mozambique, a company that works in the production and installation of digital technologies.
The young people are students from 15 Mozambican universities studying ICTs who applied to the "Seeds for the Future" project and underwent intensive training.
Transport and Communications Minister Mateus Magala, who led the closing ceremony and presentation of certificates to the best students, said the training allowed ICT talent to gain skills, competence recognition, and gain value in digital education.
"The cultural exchange with graduates from other countries, as has been said, has become an opportunity to put young talent in ICT, who are in training at universities to create solutions to real problems," he said.
The source also added that the development of human capabilities will accelerate the digital transformation to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Magala signed that the Transport and Communications sector decided to support the "Seeds for the Future" project as a valuable contribution in the digital transformation, allowing the transmission of knowledge and experience in the ICT field.
In this graduation of 55 trainees, 40 students graduated this year, while 15 were trained last year. (News)
