This Thursday, the Japanese government reaffirmed its commitment to cooperating with Mozambique in various areas for the development of both countries.
The position was expressed in Maputo city by the Japanese ambassador to Mozambique, Hamada Keiji, during the celebrations for Japan's National Day, according to Rádio Moçambique.
Hamada Keiji said in his speech that Japan would continue to cooperate with Mozambique in priority areas such as education, health and human resources training.
For his part, the Minister for Planning and Development, Salim Valá, praised the good cooperative relations between Mozambique and Japan.
