A 77-year-old woman is receiving care at the Pafúri Health Center, in the Chicualacuala district of Gaza, after being attacked by a crocodile this week while crossing the Limpopo River, reports "Noticias".
According to the administrator of Chicualacuala, Cacilda Banze, the elderly woman was saved thanks to the intervention of other farmers who were making the same crossing and who took her to the health unit.
Last week, a young man was killed by crocodiles in the same region.
It should be noted that the headquarters of the administrative post of Pafúri is isolated due to the overflow of the Limpopo and Nwanetsi rivers, caused by increased discharges from countries located upstream. (Source: News)
