Frelimo's Political Commission welcomed the progress made by the government in its first 100 days in power, including the launch of the business development fund in the provinces of Nampula, Cabo Delgado and Tete.
Frelimo's Political Commission believes that Daniel Chapo is taking a firm lead in promoting peace and social stability in the country, through inclusive dialogue with all the living forces of society, guaranteeing proximity to the population on the road to national prosperity.
Likewise, the Frelimo Political Commission appreciated the government's efforts to expand the Internet for all, in places such as secondary schools or digital squares, which will guarantee technological inclusion that reduces inequalities.
The body met this Monday at the party's headquarters in Maputo City to analyze the country's political, social, economic and cultural situation.
Frelimo's Political Commission praised the importance of strategic partnerships for national development, referring in particular to the visit of Botswana's President, Duma Boko, to Nacala, which strengthened historical ties and opened up new opportunities for both countries.
Frelimo praised the consultation of the people, guaranteed by the President of the Republic, in relation to the main national concerns, with visits to Niassa and Nampula, where he showed commitment to social harmony.
The session of the Political Commission of the Frelimo party also dealt with issues such as the celebration of the 50th anniversary of national independence, which will have various activities; the commitment of the parliamentary agenda, with progress made in the first session, such as the induction of deputies.
At the same meeting, this body analyzed the preparation of the fourth ordinary session of the Central Committee, to be held in Matola between 3 and 6 April; and the FDS's commitment to defending national territorial integrity.
