This Friday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, will take part in a high-level panel discussion on "Silencing the Guns by 2030: Lessons from Mozambique", reports Rádio Moçambique.
The event is organized by the Mozambican government, in partnership with CHATAM House, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the African Union Commission.
A press release from the Presidency of the Republic states that the Head of State will give a keynote speech on the country's efforts to consolidate peace, with emphasis on the implementation of the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration of Renamo's armed men.
