The president of the Mozambican Football Federation, Feizal (FMF) Sidat, is a candidate for election to the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

 CAF is the body responsible for leading, deliberating and approving strategic plans for the development of African soccer.

The information was given in a press release by the FMF on its official website.

Sidat's candidacy represents the southern part of Africa.
