The United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, warns that the conflict in the Gaza Strip has become a war against children.

UNICEF's Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Adele Jodr, said this Monday in Tokyo that all children will probably be traumatized because they have experienced something that no child should.

Jodr stressed that every time there is an attack, children are killed.

The UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa also pointed out that 37,000 children suffer from severe malnutrition and that 17,000 have been orphaned and subjected to risks of abuse and exploitation in Gaza. (NMinuto)
