The emblematic Machava Stadium, located in the municipality of Matola, could be inaugurated as early as June 25, National Independence Day.  

The Minister of Youth and Sport, Caifadine Manasse, and the president of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF), Feizal Sidat, visited the Machava Stadium this morning to find out about the level of rehabilitation work being carried out on the infrastructure.

The work is valued at around 10 million dollars. Currently, the level of execution of the mega-project to modernize that enclosure is around 75%, at a time when the work in the Infulene valley is taking place at an overwhelming pace.
