The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) has returned to Mozambique to present its Final Report on the General and Provincial Assembly Elections of October 9, 2024.
The report presents a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the electoral process, as well as recommendations for improving future elections.
Laura Ballarín Cereza, Head of Observation for the EU EOM, will arrive in Maputo on January 29 and will present the Final Report to the authorities, political leaders and civil society, according to a press release.
At a time when there is widespread consensus on the need for electoral reforms, the EU EOM's recommendations can make a positive contribution to the debate between the different political forces.
