Countries ignore protests against election results in Mozambique and congratulate presidential candidate Daniel Chapo on his election on October 9.

After the governments of China, South Africa and Angola, the director of research at Chatham House in London also congratulated Daniel Chapo on his election on October 9.

In a message, Alex Vines says that he is looking forward to the validation of the election results by the Constitutional Council, writes Radio Mocambique.

In the same message, Alex Vines invited Daniel Chapo to give a lecture at Chatham House between December 4 and 6, to an audience made up of legislators and senior political decision-makers, business representatives, diplomats, representatives of civil society, the media, academics and other experts.

Chatham House, formerly known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in London.
