Chiquinho Conde is expected to sign a new contract as coach of the Mambas later this week after reaching a verbal agreement with the Mozambican Football Federation on the terms and clauses of the contract.

A source quoted by LanceMZ guaranteed that all the issues that divided the two parties have already been overcome and there is already an understanding that will lead to the signing of the contract in the next few days.

Thus, the new contract will run from this August until May 2026, after the final phase of the CAN-2025 which, as we know, will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.

The Mozambican coach has started preparing for the Mambas' double-header against Mali and Guinea-Bissau next week.
