Cabo Delgado. More than 1400 employees have voluntarily returned to their areas of origin

More than 1,400 state employees and agents, who had left their districts following the terrorist attacks, have voluntarily returned to their home areas in Cabo Delgado province, an official source said.

António Sopeia, Secretary of State in Cabo Delgado province, who was speaking at the first session of the Steering Committee of the Private Sector Recovery Program, assured that the Government remains committed to the reconstruction of the areas affected by terrorism.

On the same occasion, the governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, said, in his turn, that the Recovery Program for the private sector, will bring a new economic dynamic to the areas destroyed by terrorist actions, in the province. (RM)
