BMW to launch two more bagger bikes this month

BMW has unveiled the new bagger motorcycle models, the R 18 Transcontinental and the R 18 B. Both models will be presented to the public in person this month at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

According to the "Multinews" portal, both the Transcontinental and the R 18 B are powered by a 1,802cc boxer engine with an output of 91 horsepower.

The Transcontinental features a tall windshield, and like the R 18 B, can be fitted with a unique Marshall sound system.

Both models have a 24-liter tank, double that of the original R 18.

When it comes to technology, these two bikes enjoy BMW Motorrad Full Integral ABS, Dynamic Cruise Control, and Active Cruise Control is available.

The models are illuminated all around by led lights and controlled by a 10.25-inch TFT panel, which can be connected to your smartphone.

BMW's new two-wheeled "angels" can be coated in black, a metallic texture through BMW's unique 719 Galaxy Dust Metallic paint, among others. Prices for the Portuguese market have not yet been advanced. In the US, these motorcycles will cost between $17,000 and $21,500.
