Apple removes mask requirement

Apple has announced that its workers who have already been vaccinated may stop using face masks to prevent covid-19, starting Friday (04), as cases of infection tend to reduce.

This is one of the relaxation measures in the fight against the pandemic, and it is also planned that workers in retail stores, or serving the public, and corporates will have the option of wearing a mask or not "in a small number of locations", always in accordance with the guidelines of the local health authorities.

Unlike other technology companies, Apple has not yet announced when its workers will have to return to perform their duties from the company's offices.

Despite these measures that aim, by far, at a return to the old normal, which Apple acknowledges is somewhat difficult, the company will not do without telecommuting.

The move comes shortly after the company announced that most of its retail stores in the United States would remove its mask-wearing requirements for its customers.
