The National Roads Administration (ANE), in Niassa province, needs more than two hundred million meticais for the occasional repair of access roads during this rainy season, an official source quoted by Rádio Moçambique said.
The delegate of the National Roads Administration in Niassa, Orestes Zezela, said that the priority will be the areas that repeatedly suffer from severe degradation, especially during the rainy season.
According to the source, routine maintenance work is currently being carried out on some sections considered critical.
The interventions consist of detouring and installing alternative bridges to ensure the movement of people and goods.
