This Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, announced that the action plan for implementing the commitments made in the National Political Dialogue will be presented soon.
In addition, terms of reference will be drawn up for the inclusion of three personalities from civil society.
According to the Head of State, once the terms of reference have been drawn up, the document will be submitted to parliament for debate.
"We came to the conclusion that in the document itself there is a need to have three civil society figures who we think will have to draw up the terms of reference for the inclusion of these figures of recognized merit by society and who will be part of the group that will already start working on the process," said the Head of State quoted by Rádio Moçambique.
"The other aspect is that we felt it was important to draw up an action plan for the implementation of this political commitment to an inclusive national dialogue," he added, taking stock of the first days after the signing of the political agreement in the country.
According to the President, expectations now rest on the next steps in the dialogue, with the active participation of society and the implementation of the measures set out in the commitment, reinforcing the path towards more inclusive and participatory governance in Mozambique.
