On taking office, Prime Minister Benvinda Levi promised to work to respond to the wishes of the Mozambican population, which have already been identified.
"There are several concerns that the population has and that have been expressed, particularly in recent times, and the organization of this government is aimed exactly at responding to the demands of the population. The challenges ahead of me are enormous, but I will certainly count on the collaboration of all my colleagues," she said, quoted by Rádio Moçambique.
"We're going to start by studying the planning instruments, the speech itself, and each person in their own area is going to see what guidelines the President left, both in the inaugural speech and in today's speech," he said.
"We are also working on the legal instruments for the new ministries, this will define what we are going to do in the first hundred days, but as the President said, we have to respond to some concerns that have already been identified," he added.
Benvinda Levi was speaking this Saturday after being sworn in by the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, as Prime Minister.
