Eugénio Raúl Madeira, District Secretary for the Mobilization Area of the Mocuba district, was shot dead at dawn this Sunday near his home.

Information gathered by MZNews indicates that the victim was shot in the head by unknown assailants while he was working as a driver.

"I have warned several times that we are being followed and we always receive threats until our property is set on fire under the serene gaze of the authorities," said a PODEMOS member.

The Podemos party is appealing to the authorities to ensure that the perpetrators of this barbaric crime are held accountable in an exemplary manner.
