Alleged protesters invaded the Cervejas de Moçambique (CDM) plant in the Marracuene district on Wednesday afternoon (11) and looted unspecified quantities of beer.
According to a note from CDM, to which MZNews had access, during the action, the invaders broke down the main gate and entered the interior of the factory where they carried out the looting.
CDM stresses that the action did not result in any injuries to the employees inside the facility, however, "we were forced to temporarily shut down operations at that plant", the note indicates.
The CDM is calling on all forces in society to make an effort to return to normality.
