The President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, yesterday removed Bertolino Jeremias Capitine from his post as deputy chief of staff of the Armed Defense Forces of Mozambique (FADM).
The reasons for the removal of the deputy chief of staff of the FADM have not been revealed, but the fact remains that the resignation comes three months before the end of President Nyusi's term.
It is also known that there is a tendency for the FADM to lose control of some regions as terrorist attacks intensify.
A scenario that may be related to the lack of logistical conditions for the FADM to deal with terrorism properly.
