The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will hold the draw for CHAN 2024 next Wednesday, according to the newspaper "O País".
The event is scheduled for Cairo, Egypt. The start of the race for CHAN 2024, a competition reserved for players in the domestic leagues, is scheduled for the 25th and 27th of this month.
According to the publication, the event will be attended by various figures linked to African soccer, including CAF president Patrice Motsepe. Mozambique will be looking to secure their third appearance in the competition after their debut in 2025 under João Chissano.
In last year's edition, the Mambas made an unprecedented run by reaching the quarter-finals for the first time.
CHAN 2024 will take place from February 1st to 28th next year in Kenya.
Senegal are the defending champions from 2022, beating hosts Algeria 5-4 in the final on penalties.
