As of today, the Secretary General of Frelimo is taking part in the eleventh meeting of the former liberation movements of Southern Africa in Victória Falls, Zimbabwe.

A statement quoted by RM indicates that the two-day event, which will bring together the six liberating parties of southern Africa, is the result of the understandings reached by the secretaries-general and aims to strengthen the traditional bonds of friendship, solidarity and cooperation.

The communiqué also states that at the event, FRELIMO, ZANU-PF, ANC, MPLA, CCM and SWAPO will join forces to face current challenges, based on the principles and ideals that dictated the birth of these parties.
