The Frelimo party congratulates the national soccer team, the Mambas, on their performance in their match with Egypt this Sunday.

In a statement quoted by RM, Frelimo said that the Mambas are increasingly showing their sporting mettle and making Mozambicans proud, especially after the match that resulted in a two-all draw.

In the same document, Frelimo praises the efforts of the Mozambican national soccer team, coach Chiquinho Conde, the management of the Mozambican Football Federation and the government in the development of the Mambas.

The Mambas national soccer team played out a two-all draw this Sunday against Egypt in the first round of group "B" at the African Nations Championship in Ivory Coast.
