BCI was elected "Best Bank in Mozambique" by the Euromoney Awards for Excellence, one of the most prestigious international publications specializing in the financial sector, in its 2023 edition.

The election is justified by BCI's excellent results in 2022, a year in which the bank continued to implement its strategy of strengthening the quality and diversity of the products and services it offers to families, businesses and communities in general, thus earning the recognition of its customers.

The continued trust placed in BCI enabled the bank to maintain market leadership in the three main market share dimensions: credit, deposits and assets, as a result of the service offered by its vast commercial network, the largest in the country.

The award is recognition of an institutional effort whose evaluation criteria take into account profitability, asset growth, geographical coverage, strategic relations, among others.

The Euromoney jury also chose BCI following a rigorous analysis of its sustained growth, customer service, innovation and commitment to sustainability.
