Approved change in the TSU amounts

Aprovada alteração dos quantitativos da TSU

The Council of Ministers, meeting in its 21st Ordinary Session, considered and approved the decree amending the nominal amounts of the supplements for civil servants, holders and members of public bodies and bodies of the Administration of Justice, in the context of the Single Salary Table (TSU).

The amounts are set out in Annexes I and II of Decree No. 31/2022 of July 13, as amended by Decree No. 51/2022 of October 14 and Decree No. 1/2023 of January 17.

Filimão Suaze, the government spokesman, said that the Executive had also considered and approved the decree amending Annex I of Decree No. 55/2022, of October 14, on the remuneration of other members of sovereign bodies and public bodies not provided for in Law No. 5/2022, of February 14, and repealing Decree No. 3/2023, of January 17.

The revision, according to the spokesperson, stems from the changes introduced by Law No. 7/2023, of June 9, in Law No. 5/2022, of February 14, amended and republished by Law No. 14/2022, of October 10.

The source also said that the Executive had considered and approved the decree that revises the system for assigning the value of the concession fees for the Cahora Bassa Hydroelectric Plant (HCB), provided for in Decree No. 3/2009, of March 23, and repeals Decree No. 3/2009, of March 23.

This revision aims to update the beneficiary institutions, including the consignment to the National Energy Fund (FUNAE) and the Energy Regulatory Authority (ARENE), without, however, changing the nominal amount currently consigned, as well as consigning part of the fee to the Development Agencies in order to increase revenue for the Public Treasury.
