FADM and PRM will receive first tranche of retroactive payments until March

The Mozambican Defense Forces (FADM) and police officers of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) will receive the first tranche of back pay from the Single Salary Table (TSU) in March.

The guarantee was given by the prime minister himself, Adriano Maleiane. At the time, he said that the second tranche of back pay would be paid after March.

it is known that the government had already promised to pay civil servants the TSU retroactively between November 2022 and January 2023. In the meantime, military personnel and PRM agents have not received the money, but the Prime Minister has justified this in the following terms:

"What has been agreed is that the first tranche of back payments to (FADS) should be paid by March. The second tranche will be paid in accordance with the entity responsible for scheduling the payments," said Adriano Maleiane.
