The designer, Nivaldo Thierry, launched last Saturday, November 12, in Maputo city, a new collection of NT slippers. The event was a perfect combination of glamour, beauty and refinement.
The show featured several women's and men's pieces from a collection designed with summer in mind, with varied shades of blue, green, red, black, and brown.
Nivaldo Thierry says that this moment represents the rebirth of the post-COVID-19 era, which was surrounded by uncertainty among Mozambicans. The collection is a reinforcement of Made in Mozambique consumption.
The designer believes that NT slippers are not just a shoe model, but a set of accessory with style, comfort and better mobility.
For the designer, on the one hand, it was opportune to choose the month of November for the launch of the brand, because it is the anniversary month of the creation of the Nivaldo Thierry brand, which coincides with his birthday (November 26).
On the other hand, Thierry chose this period also because the end of the year is fast approaching, a time of festivities, vacations and travels. Therefore, the designer thought of an accessory to match the summer.
It is important to mention that, as part of the Renasça collection, in the clothing component, the Nivaldo Thierry brand was present at Fashion Without Borders Botswana, in Gaborone, on October 14 and 15, where it exhibited more than 50 different pieces, transmitting the original concept of Mozambican fashion.
The opportunity served for fashion designer Nivaldo Thierry to cultivate the spirit of cooperation among African fashion professionals.
