The Airline Pilots Union (SPLA) has decreed a strike starting October 7, having already sent the strike notice to TAAG - Angolan Airlines on Friday, the Angolan airline announced yesterday.

In response to this communication, the administration of TAAG said in a statement sent to the Lusa agency, that "immediately" created a "contingency plan to minimize the impact of possible downtime" and has meetings scheduled between 3-7 October to analyze the situation together, according to Lusa.
