Alcinda Panguana qualifies for the final of the African Boxing Championship

Alcinda Panguana apura-se para a final do Africano de Boxe

The Mozambican boxer, Alcinda Panguana, has qualified for the final of the African Boxing Championship taking place in the capital of the country, at the Eduardo Mondlane University.

Panguana beat Cameroonian Clotilde Essiane, in the 66-70kg category, in the semi-finals by 4-0. In the final that will take place next Saturday, the Mozambican boxer will clash with Congolese Brigitte Mbambi.

The other Mozambican boxer, Helena Bagão, had the opposite luck to her compatriot, and ended up in the semi-finals in a match that had to resort to Split Decision, to find the winner between the Mozambican and the Moroccan Rabab Cheddar.
