The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) warns of bad weather and a drastic drop in temperature in the provinces of Maputo and Gaza.

Changes in the weather will occur between today and tomorrow, should pass through some districts strong winds and gusts at a speed of 70 km per hour. The winds may agitate the sea or cause storms with heights of up to five meters.

In Maputo province, the districts of Matutuine, Boane, Namaacha, Marracuene, Magude, Manhiça, Cidades de Maputo and Matola are expected to be affected.

In Gaza, there is a possibility of au weather in the districts of Massangena, Massingir, Mabalane, Guijá, Chibuto, Manjacaze, Chonguene, Chókwè, Bilene, Limpopo and Xai-xai city.

INAM recommends taking precautionary and maritime safety measures.
