Some 72 young people from Palma district are being trained in construction matters to be involved in the rehabilitation work of social infrastructure destroyed by the terrorist attacks.
The National Director of the National Institute for Professional Training and Labor Studies, Alberto Cassimo, said quoted by Radio Mozambique that this is an action that is part of the government's commitment to create better living conditions for the population affected by terrorist actions.
"We have already begun to do the intervention that consisted of the rehabilitation of the chief medical house that had been vandalized by the terrorists. We rehabilitated and voted to give life and today this house is used as the secretary of the Palma district government, because there we are still in the process of retaking our populations ", he said.
The 72 or so young people from Palma who are being trained will join more than 500,000 others planned for this year in a joint effort between the government and Total Energy Mozambique.
