Tesla plans to launch steering wheel-less cars in 2023

Tesla is the biggest reference in the electric vehicle segment. It is true that the prices of the vehicles are not exactly cheap, but they have been coming down over the years (at least there are cheaper models).

The American company plans to launch a car for $25,000 and without a steering wheel.

The news is not exactly news, as already in February Pplware reported that it was confirmed that Tesla would launch a car for $25,000 and that it will be manufactured in China. The confirmation came from the president of Tesla China, Tom Zhu.

According to recent reports, Elon Musk has already indicated to some of his workers that this will be the big goal for 2023. The fact that it is a "low cost" vehicle immediately raises some challenges, but Elon Musk wants to go further. According to reports, the vehicle will even be able to arrive without a steering wheel, that is, to be a fully autonomous car.

This vehicle is to be produced at the Shanghai Gigafactory in China, but should be available in markets around the world.

It should be noted that Tesla has invested heavily in China in terms of production, but also in the sales market.
