Multi-sectoral committees set up as part of the implementation of the Single Wage Scale (TSU) in the Civil Service are assessing the situation of retired workers with a view to finding the best solution to fit them into this process..

The Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, who addressed the issue in Parliament yesterday, also said that he had started an internal audit in order to assess the conformity between the framework criteria defined by law and those applied by human resources managers.

The measure aims to ensure legal compliance with the last administrative act granted to the State Official and Agent (FAE) which served as the basis for the application of the TSU.

"The framework is over. The criteria have been respected and for that reason we can admit that formally the process is closed," said Maleiane, quoted by Domingo.
