In the midst of disputes over the election results by the political parties, Daniel Chapo says he is willing to talk, but this can only happen after the final decision of the Constitutional Council.
The information came yesterday from the spokeswoman for Frelimo's Political Commission after a meeting to analyze the situation of the demonstrations contesting the results.
"The Political Commission is checking the situation that the country is experiencing and we are concerned and we have been seeing outbreaks in which we have seen robberies, destruction of public and private property and this means that people can't find peace even in their own homes," said Ludmila Magune, spokesperson for the Political Commission.
"As the candidate said yesterday, he is open to dialogue, but in the meantime we have to take into account the final position to be given by the Constitutional Council," Magune pointed out.
It should be noted that following the release of the election results by the National Electoral Commission, the main parties running for the presidency have already come out publicly against the results.
