Last minute: LAM cancels flights due to aircraft unavailability

The Mozambican airline, Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique, LAM, was forced to cancel today's flights (05/12) due to the unavailability of its four aircraft, as they were undergoing occasional repairs, the company said in a statement sent to our newsroom.

The statement says that the unavailability of the aircraft was verified this morning, which caused constraints on the operation of the flights, which is why it was not possible to carry out the planned departures.

"After realizing that the intervention on the aircraft requires more time, flights have been rescheduled, although there is still the possibility of cancellations, which will be communicated to the passengers affected," the statement said.
