Tesla gets patent on laser wipers

Tesla has obtained a patent for its design of lasers to clean the front glass of cars.

According to Mult News, this is "a cleaning system for vehicles", using "a set of optical 'rods' that emit laser beams onto part of the glass and detect debris," says the patent application, cited by the Electrek website.

The automaker therefore intends to introduce laser wipers.

But in addition to this patent, Tesla is also developing electromagnetic wipers, which are futuristic in appearance, but still more realistic than laser beams, explains the same website.

With the same patent, Tesla argues that the technology can also be used in solar panels and rooftops, among others.
