The Mozambican Association of Oil Companies (AMEPETROL) says the country has enough fuel to meet demand.
The pronouncement of this entity comes in the wake of some news put into circulation, telling of a possible fuel rupture in the country's oil companies.
Ricardo Cumbe, General Secretary of AMEPETROL, who was speaking to Radio Mozambique, explained that of a misinformation to consumers.
"We have no problems of stocks At the moment, there was a misinformation situation with the social networks and the information that was being conveyed, did not correspond to the truth. Consumers should not panic, continue to lead a normal life, do not get agitated," he told the microphones of Antena Nacional.
Ricardo Cumbane clarifies, however, that the difficulties presented recently by the association, referring to the misalignment of the price practiced in the country with the price of fuel imports, prevail, but there are already contacts with the government.
Note that recently the Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, ruled out the possibility of the state subsidizing some sub-sectors, including fuel, as a way to cope with the price hike following the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
