Israel launched an attack against Iran, the US press reported on Thursday evening (16), citing a US official.

According to The New York Times, Israeli authorities confirmed the attack on condition of anonymity. Explosions were heard near a military base.

This attack comes in retaliation after Iran launched more than 300 Iranian missiles and drones last Saturday (13) in an unprecedented attack on Israel.

However, Iranian news agencies quoted by Globo reported that explosions were heard near both cities, adding that nuclear facilities in Isfahan were not hit.
