Government bets on renewable energies

The government wants to continue investing in renewable energy production, with a view to implementing the presidential initiative Energy for All by 2030.

The Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy was quoted by Radio Mozambique as saying that the use of renewable energies is one of the national energy solutions.

António Saíde was speaking this Friday in Maputo at the Third Business Conference on Renewable Energy in Mozambique.

The President of the Mozambican Association of Renewable Energies, AMER, Ricardo Pereira, assured the need for environmental and social responsibility for national electrification. (RM)
