The National Energy Fund (FUNAE) and the JFS group launched this Wednesday, in Cuamba, the "Ilumina Saúde" project, which foresees the electrification of two administrative posts and ten health centers in the provinces of Nampula and Niassa.
The project, budgeted at more than 116 million Meticais, will benefit about 2000 families and aims to improve the quality of life and integrated rural community development in the country.
The initiative starts with the electrification of the Health Center of Muthaco, in the administrative post of Lúrio, Cuamba district, and plans to electrify the Health Centers of Sales, Matarica Lúrio, Malia and Mpamela, in Niassa province, and Pinda, Mete, Naquessa and Lúrio (in progress), in Nampula.
The project also foresees the electrification of two headquarters of the administrative posts of Gomba and Matondovela, in the district of Mecula, Niassa, through the construction of solar plants capable of generating 40 and 60 KW, respectively, in the two years of the memorandum of understanding between FUNAE and the JFS group.
