Six of the 63 schools that had been closed due to the terrorist attacks in the Chiúre district of Cabo Delgado have reopened.
These are educational establishments in the administrative post of Ocua, according to the provincial director of Education, Ivaldo Quincardete, quoted by Rádio Moçambique.
The source also explained that the reopening of the six schools is due to the return of families who were displaced because of the insecurity in the region.
In recent months, some districts in Cabo Delgado province have suffered heavy terrorist attacks, which has led to a wave of displaced people moving to safer places.
