Residents of the municipalities of Vila da Matola-Rio and Boane, in Maputo province, held a clean-up day this morning that consisted of removing barricades along National Road Number Two (N2) and Rua da Mozal.
These are resistance fighters from the Campoane, Djuba, Chinonanquila and Djonasse neighborhoods who removed the logs, tire debris and other objects that had been placed on the main arteries of the two municipalities as part of the demonstrations.
