The President of the Frelimo Party, Filipe Nyusi said that the government will continue to invest in resources for the defense of the country's sovereignty.

Filipe Nyusi, who was speaking during an extraordinary meeting with members of the party's Central Committee, in Inhambane, said there is a need to create what he called its own muscles in the Defense and Security Forces to repel situations that endanger tranquility in Mozambique.

Turning the "page" Nyusi challenged the various segments of society to bet on the diversification of activities that can leverage the country's economy.

At the same meeting, Frelimo reflected on the program, party discipline, economic/financial sustainability and ideology of the Party.
