AT calls for collaboration in the implementation of liquor sealing in Niassa

The Mozambique Tax Authority (AT) in Niassa calls on economic agents to collaborate with the government in implementing the sealing of alcoholic beverages, which is heading for its third phase in the country.

The appeal was made on Friday by the delegate of the Tax Authority of Mozambique in Niassa, Manuel Quinze, at the launch of the calendar for the implementation of the third phase of compulsory sealing of alcoholic beverages.

For Manuel Quinze, the implementation of this program will contribute to increase revenues for the state.

The delegate of the Tax Authority of Mozambique in Niassa recalled that it is from tax revenues that the government gets funds to carry out various activities, such as building infrastructure, purchasing medicines and other goods.

Inocêncio Sotomane, from the Niassa Provincial Business Council, Idane Jeque, a beverage warehouse manager, said that the implementation of that program is beneficial for the country.

The Provincial Director of Industry and Commerce in Niassa, Fidélio Salamandane and Zainadine Bacar, from the National Inspection of Economic Activities, say that they will do their best to make sure that the program will be in the domain of the economic agents and the population in general.

As of November 19 next, the mandatory sealing of beers begins, nationwide, in its pilot phase.
